Here at Gemma Randall Photography, I do things a little differently. Channeling my love for natural light and moments, I’m not into the ‘typical studio’ photography. I focus all the attention on you and your little ones. That means, no multicolours, no really staged baby posing, and no digital backdrops! It's all about the styling, being in the moment and tapping into your family dynamic.
I am a lover of all things natural - neutral colours, elegant styling and true emotions. I have structured my sessions and business to be modern yet timeless. I get to know you and your family, work closely with you and listen to your wants & needs. My favourite photos during a session is always the family portraits - because this is where the love and magic comes to life! I work only with natural light and warm tones to create photos which turn into family heirlooms, to be looked at through generations to come.

I usually recommend for maternity shoots to take place at around the 30 week mark, as I want to make sure you’re comfortable and you are visibly showing.
My diary is always booked so far in advance, so please enquire around your 12 week scan, or shortly after. Newborn sessions will then take place within 2 weeks once the baby is born. These sessions are flexible, so if they do need to be moved, we can bring it forward or postpone to a later date.
Yes! A selection of prints are included in all of my packages, but when in the studio, you can have a browse through the albums and wall art I have on display!
A non-refundable £100 session fee will be taken to secure your slot, with the remaining balance due on the day of the shoot. Invoices will be sent in advance with online card payment details.
Typically maternity, sitter, milestone and family sessions last around 1 hour. For newborn sessions, I block out 2-3 hours, as we need to factor in feeds, nappy changes and any settling time.
After your shoot, I will professionally edit your photos in my signature style, and deliver these to you on a private online gallery for the selection process. This gallery is usually delivered around 2-3 weeks after your session.
Yes! I am always so encouraging of these photos, as these precious moments will be gone so quickly. These are honestly my favourites shots to do!
I do have a selection of clothes for newborns, young babies and maternity in the studio. My digital studio wardrobe guide is available to view on request.
