With these words in the forefront of my mind, you can expect your shoot to be centred all around you and your connection with your family! Here at Gemma Randall Photography, I do things a little differently. I focus all the attention on you and your little ones, no heavily staged baby posing, no digital backdrops, no props and no "smile for the camera"! I want you to feel as comfortable in my studio as you do at home. In all honesty, my aim is to make you forget that I'm even there - just be you, be free with your little 'ism's', and let me turn your moments into memories.
I love fun facial expressions, playing around, simple colours, minimalistic styling and lifestyle images. Candid moments and true emotions, just solely focusing on your baby and having fun. I have structured my business to be modern yet timeless. I work with natural light and warm tones to create photos which turn into family heirlooms, to be looked at through generations to come.

Gemma did our newborn shoot when our little girl was 4 days old, Gemma is so gentle and we had absolutely no worries with her handling our precious daughter, you can rest assured she knows exactly what she’s doing! Having had a c-section myself Gemma’s studio was easy to get to, clean, warm and comfortable and we could just sit back and relax with a cuppa while she worked her magic. As with a newborn we needed a couple of feeds and a nappy change while we were there but we never felt rushed and Gemma is super patient. "We booked the bump to baby package while I was heavily pregnant after a recommendation from a friend and seeing Gemma’s work online.
I was really nervous about it as I had never had a photo shoot before but she sent all the information and style guide before the day and discussed outfit ideas. On the day she made us feel super comfortable.
When our little one was born early she was super flexible in moving the newborn shoot date. She was incredibly patient when it took ages for the baby to settle and fall asleep. We even brought our dog along to be in some of the photos.
When we got the photos back we were so happy and even ordered extra prints as we couldn’t choose between them.

We had a newborn session done with Gemma and we are so overwhelmed with how amazing our photos have turned out! Gemma worked really hard to involve our toddler in the photos too as initially he wasn't keen. She was super patient with him and ended up getting beautiful photos of my babies!
Nothing was too much trouble, Gemma even agreed to attempt a photo with my toddler, newborn baby and my Labrador! The photo is amazing and one we will definitely treasure!
