I welcomed the gorgeous Harvey into the studio, with his mama, Dad and older sibling Heidi. I've photographed this family for years and their journey into parenthood, and soon their wedding in April 2022!
Although it's great to have baby asleep during the shoot, as long as they're settled, having their eyes open aren't all that bad! Just look at this big, blue eyes staring back at you through your photos. We will work through a couple of outfits, as neutral as possible to keep in suit with the aesthetic of my work and studio, but also gently wrap baby, capturing those little yawns and stretches along the way.
Sibling shots are always included in my newborn shoots, but safety is everything! Depending on brother/sister's age, they are welcome to hold baby, otherwise I will style baby and sibling on my posing beanbag to ensure baby's safety is top priority.
Next we have family shots. Ahead of your shoot, you will receive my Styling Guide which has a few do's and don'ts when it comes to outfits you bring along to the studio. I will guide you on fabrics and colours that work well together, resulting in effortless stylish and timeless photos that will never date.
Newborn shoots usually take place in the first 2 weeks of baby's life, in my studio in Buckinghamshire. It's never too early to book your shoot, but best booked around your 20 week scan to ensure I have availability. To book in and find out more, fill out my enquiry form.
