Herons Farm, Pangbourne is West Berkshire's best kept secret... but not for much longer. Think enchanted woodland and manicured lawns in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the heart of the English countryside. You can see why this made the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony, and thankfully Tara & Tom were graced with that dreamy late Summer weather.
To kick start morning prep, we were joined by the fabulous Rachael & Mariella who are firm makeup favourites of mine, made all the more special as Rachael is also the Groom’s sister and one of Tara's bridesmaids. Herons Farm's bridal suite is a photographer's dream, with it being so grand and full of natural light. Choosing a venue that has a prep room full of natural light and neutral colours/shades will enable me to capture the most beautiful bridal portraits.
Tara wore a Madilane off the shoulder dress, boasting sheer elegance and delicate lace detailing.
A couple of Proseccos later, a very emotional Father and Tara in her beautiful dress, she was ready to head down to the lawn for their outdoor ceremony.
Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Tara and Tom exchanged their own vows, slid those rings onto each others fingers and walked back up the aisle with the biggest grins on their faces! The drinks reception was accompanied by the City String Trio, followed by group shots and then Tara and Tom's couple shots.
The wedding breakfast was served in the barn, with each table name boasting the countries Tara and Tom have journeyed to - an idea I've had for my own wedding for years! Speeches completed, 3 courses devoured, it was time to hit the buggy and head off for some golden hour photos. The venue surprised the Bride and Groom with smoke bombs to make some epic photos!
To top off this beautiful day, 8 Ball Band kept the party going with all things indie and folk!
